The Stuart Turner "Monsoon" range of pumps are the most popular pump I come across in Dublin apartments. They give years of hassle free operation due to their build quality and the fact they are built from brass(not plastic), hence the expense on initial purchase. Stuart Turner has a new range of Monsoon twin booster pumps that have replaced the old series. So if the pump on the right is what you see in your hot press then the chances are its over 4 yrs old.
The biggest problem with the older M330n and its variants was the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) which failed, sometimes due to simple power outages and even when simply turned off for plumbing work to be carried out, when power was restored the board had failed and needed replacing. Although Stuart Turner rectified this problem pretty much with a new design of PCB that was an improvement in design and function, I still had to warn householders before i cut the power to carry out work on the shower/sink/bath etc. that, the board may fail and need replacing. All in all the Monsoon series of pumps give hassle free delivery of water in many homes in the Dublin area. Next time we will review the new "Monsoon Universal" range of pumps.
