Bad Mouse chews through Qual-pex

Here is a section of qual-pex that has been gnawed on by a mouse. It was on the cold supply to the bathroom. It seems the little rodent spent a lot of time chewing away until the water came out and scared him off however, it caused a bad leak which brought down a section of the kitchen ceiling. I removed the leaking section and replaced it. Here is a photo:
